Stephanie Wright, Psy.D.
Dr. Stephanie Wright is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY31575) in California. She received
her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant
International University and her B.A. from Wake Forest University. Dr. Wright completed an
APA-accredited postdoctoral fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
During her fellowship, she provided individual and group therapy to adolescents and young
adults, provided consultation services for medical providers, administered psychological
assessments, and supervised doctoral and social work interns. Her clinical work focused on
mental health treatment for teens and young adults with chronic medical issues. Dr. Wright
also completed a two-year rotation in the Pediatric Pain Management Clinic, where she
received specialized training in working with chronic pain.
Prior to fellowship, Dr. Wright completed an APA-accredited internship at Alexian Brothers
Behavioral Health Hospital in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. She completed two rotations, one in the
Center of Addiction Medicine which focused on treatment for clients with substance use
disorders and dual diagnoses, and one in the Adult Partial Hospitalization Program which
focused on treatment for adults with mood, personality, and trauma-related disorders.
Dr. Wright has worked in inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings and has been trained in
both cognitive-behavioral and relational therapies. In private practice, she provides therapy to
clients ranging in age from children to adults. She works mostly with challenges related to
anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, behavioral disorders, and chronic pain.
